I apologize
for missing the past few days, my computer was offline and moved and unable to
be used. I didn’t procrastinate while I was computer-less. God showed me things
in my day that touched my heart and I will share them with you. So here’s the
first :)
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4 He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
6 The Lord sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.”

6 The Lord sustains the humble

This
passage is all about God’s power. And the first line is such a great way to
kick it off. “HOW GOOD IT IS TO SING
PRAISES TO OUR GOD!” It’s pretty
easy to understand. It just feels right, or appropriate to give Him our praise!
Verse
three is my favorite of this passage! It is such a relieving promise. Have you
ever felt like you were at your lowest point? Like you’ve been beaten, and
you’ve got nothing else to lose? God has the power to heal us and bring us back
to our feet.
When I
read “His Understanding has no limit” I think like this:
We have a limited knowledge. Our comprehension is bound. For example: here on our world, 2+2=4 But God is God, if he wanted to, he could make it equal to 5. That’s kind of a silly example, but another one, yet not so puerile, is that God didn’t have a beginning nor an end, He’s just always been there. For us our conception has restrictions: Everything needs to have a start and a finish. But with God, He is oh so much more powerful.

Verse 6
promises watch over those who clothe themselves in humility, whereas God gives
very little tolerance to those who live with a sinful life. God is good and He
provides us with a million ways to be with Him, He is Powerful.
Dear
Lord,
Thank you
for telling us through this writer, of Your amazing might. Please guide us with
that power to where you want us to go. Thank you for giving us life; I think
that demonstrates how strong You are, perfectly! We love you and praise you!
Amen.
